Natural colour variation in clay products

Our clay bricks and pavers are made from naturally-occurring minerals that are kiln fired to lock in their colour and strength for life. The composition of the raw materials as well as the firing process may cause each run to differ. The resulting colour variation is inherent in the process and part of the appeal of our natural products.

The product images in our brochures and on this website give a general indication of colour for your preliminary selection. We recommend you also view current product samples and look at actual finished houses (we can supply a list) before making your final selection.

Right: This is a sample box containing three bricks. When we make up a sample box, we try to show you a limited sample of light, medium and dark versions of the particular brick. Where the brick has a random colour flash, a blue burn for example, we will include one in the sample.

Please look at the sample walls in our display centres. They are a general indication of the product with the normal amount of blend variation. Our sales staff will be happy to answer any questions.

Our staff are able to supply addresses of finished jobs in any brick you are considering. Seeing an actual project is another indicator of how your bricks will look in a finished wall. Please note that mortar colour and joint finish may affect the overall appearance of the bricks in the wall.
